Finally 90+, and up to 91 at ORD. This lingering cloud deck has been eroding a bit, just in time before anvils move into from the t’storms across the SW metro. .

90+ at ORD will likely be delayed and a closer call than it should have otherwise been for today. Cloud deck associated with an MCV continues to sit in place and regenerate across portions of the metro, slowing the temp rise this morning. .

Floating in the 95F pool, as the outflow hits from a nearby storm. Pool is about 20F warmer than the air temp right now. Easily gusting 40mph+ right.

Are you talking about the point and click forecast blurbs with the associated images? If so, I believe the threshold is 95. .

81 ORD at 7AM. Warmest start in quite some time. Only ~4 hours under 80. .

ORD was still 81 at 2AM. Low was 77. .

On the flip side the GFS has been slightly too warm at times, though has been much closer to reality than the Euro. That's for the immediate metro only, as both models have been too cool for non-urban areas.
