  1. ComEd did a broad brush estimation time of Saturday for everyone. Gotta think it’ll likely be longer for the harder hit areas. .
  2. 91 ORD (23), 90 MDW (19) and 90 here (21) today.
  3. Gusting up around 60mph now with the backside winds. .
  4. Definitely caused by higher than the 62mph at ORD.
  5. Yea, winds have increased once again here as well. Gusting 50mph+ here now, which is stronger than the main line.
  6. Pretty zzzzz up around here. Peak wind gusts up to ~50mph for a short time, with the leading edge of the line. Looks like severe winds are more localized to where the smaller MV's are located in the line now, compared to the entire line earlier.
  7. Bookend vortex just north of Savanna now, moving ENE. This will likely bring the heart of the jet through the entire Chicago metro. .
  8. Given the current 86mph gust at DVN well behind the main line, it’s safe to say the jet is not aloft...it’s at the surface. .
  9. DVN still gusting 58kts currently. Severe winds are lasting a bit longer than the usual hit and go. There was a report that the severe winds lasted for ~45mins in CID.
  10. SPC needs to consider high with 20z out look or sooner. This is as about as high end as it gets. .
  11. These high end reports continue to be right near the main vortex... .
