  1. Looks like a DAB for most of the area tonight/tomorrow morning. .
  2. Stores are packed. As expected, fatmans guidelines are not being followed. .
  3. doesn’t even really matter if he does impose one. .
  4. Even with wind gusts ~65mph, tree damage ended up being fairly limited in the area...due to leaf drop already having been completed. Fence damage was the most common damage that I’ve come across. .
  5. 75 at ORD today, which broke the record high for the date once again of 71 (1949).
  6. G66MPH Hanover Park. Guess I underestimated a bit. Legit.
  7. Quality line. Non-stop lightning/thunder, and gusted to about 60mph.
  8. The whole metro will end up with a nice hit from the QLCS. Still a question in how widespread severe will actually be...But it seems that over the past hour or so, it has been more widespread instead of isolated.
  9. Came in with a late 72mph gust. That corridor produced. .
  10. Only gusting to 36kt at RFD. Too stable to get anything to the surface, other than isolated in nature. .
  11. The overall threat is still fairly isolated to some of the better cores. The broad-brush warnings are deceiving.
  12. Timing looks more favorable as time goes on, with it looking to come through the heart of the metro by around 5pm.
  13. And it held. So broke daily and tied all time Nov monthly record high min temp. ORD also hit 76 once again today, which broke the record high of 74 (1999) for the date. .
  14. If that trend continues, I’d agree...for much of the Quad Cities CWA. .
  15. Looks like a general marginal risk worthy day for the area the SPC has outlined. 110kt jet streak, strengthening SLP riding NE, large area of 60+ DP's...Only thing lacking is instability.
  16. Low of 63° at ORD. Likely going to break daily record high min temp of 59 (1999)...and also puts in play the all time monthly record high min of 63° (6th/1924 & 7th/1975). .
  17. High of 76 at ORD today, which broke daily record of 73 (1931). .
  18. he’s just not happy his fair tax amendment wasn’t passed. ever since it was turned down, he has been in a not so great mood. .
  19. I’ve only briefly looked into it, but at this time I expect... AA temps, AA precip and BA snowfall around here. .
  20. If things go as they may the next few days, this stretch will be very comparable to Morch 2012. .
