  1. 12z Euro with a bump back SE from 6z run. Ends up very similar to 0z run, which had the initial bump NW.
  2. Given the NW shift, ORD is now much more in the game for significant lake effect/enhancement. If ORD were to miss out on the LE, it means noting to the official Chicago snowfall total then.
  3. It did several runs ago, but definitely kudos to the Para GFS of this holds. .
  4. 12z Para GFS continued the bump NW trend as well. .
  5. 12z OP GFS bumped NW, but still we’ll SE of other guidance. .
  6. It’s a bigger deal for them down there. .
  7. To say that’s a long shot is an understatement. 11.3” on the month so far, and say this storm/lake event put down another 12”. That would make only ~23.2” on the month, which is still ~20” away from that record. .
  8. when it’s your winter, it’s your winter. .
  9. And the three runs prior to that moved NW, and the one before that was SE. There is no trend. It’s bouncing around. Just as the Euro has been bouncing around as well.
  10. KORD 131851Z 30010KT 3/4SM R10L/2600VP6000FT -SN BR BKN016 OVC023 M12/M15 A3024 RMK AO2 SLP256 SNINCR 1/15 P0001 T11171150
  11. 2.0" here at ORD as of noon. 3/4SM snow here right now, in this lake enhanced band. Good sized fluff flakes.
