  1. Mini void out there, with 1-3" just to your west and 1-2" just to your east.
  2. The -AO has been around since the start of Dec. The main driver in the flip to cold sustained cold was the NAO, and then the PNA not being well + helped keep the active storm pattern going at the same time.

  4. ORD is up to 45.8” on the season and 20.4” in Feb...Making it the 10th snowiest Feb on record. Shall see how things go the rest of the month. .
  5. Ton of ice on the lake now, and probably just about the max that will be seen this winter. .
  6. Just south of Little Rock had 14-18” of snow yesterday/last night. Officially, Little Rock has had 20.3” the past 4 days. However, areas just south of town are closer to 30” in the same 4 day span. .

  15. Record low max temp was broken at ORD yesterday (Sun, Feb 14th). High temp of 4 broke the previous record of 8 (1943).

  18. There was a 7.8" report from the Loop at 8PM.
  19. Even adding in the potential missing snow, the gap would still be quite large. As you mentioned, another attempt of the main LES band pushing into ORD has failed... Though riding the edge now is better than fully missing it like earlier. Convergence is running right up the lake-shore, so unless that changes, it'll never fully make it into ORD.
