Forgive me, but are you saying you anticipate weakening as it enters LOT area?

For what its worth, out in the far west suburbs of Chicago Im seeing some buds pushing and saw daffodils starting to emerge two days ago. Very strange.

Just switched to snow here, but its immediately melting. 34 degrees.

Just finished clearing the drive and its much like Tuesdays storm in that its heavy and saturated, and getting lots of melt at 33 degrees. Currently drizzling at the moment/no frozen precip.

Recveived 4.6" overnight here in Batavia Illinois, on .47" liquid.

Thought Id add to the observations - Sun is out in Batavia Illinois.

I recorded .5" accumulation out of .30" liquid. Pavement melted the snow so it only really covered the grass.

Currently in far eastern Kane / far western DuPage counties in West Chicago right by DuPage Airport, and we have minor ice accretion on trees. Pavement seems only to be wet, not frozen.

Total IMBY this morning = 1.1" / .39" water equivalent. Most of it sleet through the day, with a coating of snow last night.

Long time reader - figured Id post my CoCoRahs observation from 7:30am in Batavia Illinois at 2.9"

New member here - I measured 2.1" at my home from this one.
