    Issue is areas east of city which are not urban. With rates at 2-3” an hour, if they occur, roads will become road covered, even highways. So Upton will probably go WSW for the whole area IMO if the EURO holds serve.

    Not true here. The snowfall rates are progged at 2-3” per hour. Snow will immediately stick to the roads outside of manhattan

    We had 3 inches last storm on the north shore. Not sure we can top that here but I think 3” is again doable on the grass LIE north. I think 3” is the ceiling and 1” the floor here.

    90% of us have been steady and clear eyed. The other 10% are all over the map and scream the loudest. you are absolutely correct. We need cold air for snow…it’s that simple. People for some reason forget this…

    Yes a huge blizzard with a cold air airmass I have stayed up for EURO and then passed out. But i am generally a night owl anyway

    Do you really do this? Why not get a good night sleep and see what the models showed in the morning? Staying up snowstorm I get but to see what a model shows I do not understand

    You also average twice as much snow per year…our average is 30” and we have 5” so far…it’s all relative
