  1. I think 2-3” possible on colder surfaces. Ground will be very warm so I see this as mainly a car topper event for us. Middle of the day, temps above freezing. Maybe 3” on grass?
  2. Don’t fall for it man. 1-3” is what you should be expecting for city and coast
  3. Widespread 30”+ across Suffolk county. Ridiculous
  4. We had 3 inches last storm on the north shore. Not sure we can top that here but I think 3” is again doable on the grass LIE north. I think 3” is the ceiling and 1” the floor here.
  5. So why not do 1-2” like they have further north and south of me? fwiw my p and C hourly shows a total of 1.7”
  6. Upton point and click is for 1-3” here, think that will be coming down at next update
  7. 90% of us have been steady and clear eyed. The other 10% are all over the map and scream the loudest. you are absolutely correct. We need cold air for snow…it’s that simple. People for some reason forget this…
  8. Since it’s an all rain event it won’t make any difference lol
  9. Yes a huge blizzard with a cold air airmass I have stayed up for EURO and then passed out. But i am generally a night owl anyway
  10. Do you really do this? Why not get a good night sleep and see what the models showed in the morning? Staying up snowstorm I get but to see what a model shows I do not understand
  11. Until we get a persistent -EPO we will be in this terrible pattern. It will happen again but could be a while
  12. You also average twice as much snow per year…our average is 30” and we have 5” so far…it’s all relative
  13. “Events” we’ve had 3 events too. 5”’of snow. What’s your total? Over 15”?
  14. We tried to tell em. We get yelled at and called names. After 25 years you figure you would learn SOMETHING about the weather
  15. 59 now. Was 61 this date last year
  16. All winter? We’ve had a total of one snow threat which was a few slushy inches for the coast. What am I missing?
  17. 41 degrees in Montreal at 10 pm on February 9. Helluva winter!
  18. Is it spring yet?
