  1. Sun was shining, birds chirping. Great day
  2. Ya because idiots trying to shoot down the drones (planes) with lasers
  3. Used it once last year. Didn’t really need to though, just wanted to haha
  4. Yea this weather is horrific. Make it end. My snowblower still in the back of my garage. Not even close to moving it to the front
  5. Congrats to the northern posters for a nice snowfall. Enjoy it. 42 and rain here
  6. Snow mixing in with the rain, 37 now
  7. Happy that the ski mountains have snow. When we in this forum discuss weather and rate winters it’s based on what happens where we live, not in mountains.
  8. 17 this morning. cold without snow is a complete waste. It’s the worst type of weather option we have. Cold and bare ground. Horrific. at least we weren’t shut out for the month out here, but one inch I not much when we’ve had this much cold
  9. Out here at least. Jericho turnpike north to the sound was 23-27. Jericho south 18-20…
  10. 22 last night. North wind stayed up on the north shore so we didn’t really radiate. Areas further south away from the sound radiated better and had less influence from the sounds warm waters. Rarely happens but it does happen occasionally.
  11. My god we’ve hit a new low
  12. Thank you sir. yes, southern Commack it is. My elevation is around 200, I’m right on top of a hill by the northern. Where i am now is in a valley of sorts at around 140, so I radiate really well. I assume on the hill I won’t radiate much but maybe the elevation will help in marginal events. I guess we’ll see
  13. That’s alot of moving around. Thanks!
  14. Thanks lol. I was holding out for a house north of the where I am but there was almost no inventory and what was available was awful. Yes probably. This area is usually on the frozen side in marginal events and also got a solid inch last week. Will be interesting to see if there is much of a difference
  15. Making the decision to move to a new house. Unfortunately the house is 2 miles south of my current house, yet still in commack. I’ll be just south of the northern state and about a mile north of the LIE. Probably still far enough north to be ok in marginal events, but I’m not happy about it. however as I hit middle age it’s clear that not moving somewhere because it may snow an inch or two less is pretty ridiculous. South we go
