    It’s funny how this area of Suffolk is always warmer than other areas in summer and winter sunny days. Even on Wunderground the local PWS are low 40s. We are in a valley here surrounded by 200-300 foothills and away from any ocean or sound influence, so I’m guessing that does it. Center island and flat

    Euro has the storm down around South Carolina now, with no snow north of SE VA. I get people being hopeful for a trend, but it’s time to give it up.

    The unique part of this winter was the lack of any sustained thaw. Very few days above 50 and I don’t believe any days above 50 with sunshine. Just a cold, dark winter with below average snowfall.
