Looks like the coastal is robbing the moisture from Western LI right now. Lighter echoes, while to the west NE NJ continues to absolutely crush. Someone will get 2 feet around there. Down to 19.7 WTF

Temp dropped back from 21 to 20. Snow/sleet mix still. Upton has a nightime high of 29, not sure i see that happening

Getting absolutely crushed right now and radar looks amazing. Just measured 6” on the nose on the patio. 15 degrees. NAM had me at 4.5” last night.

Bands east of the city are building well ahead of mix line. As most of the city and island are approaching 6”, I think the low end of the warning (8”) verifies and likely 10” before the flip. With 1-2” of sleet, that’s your 12”
