  1. Shot back up to 94/78, maybe all is not lost. Ahead of yesterday now by 1
  2. Forecast high is 95. 94 at 10 am and slid back to 91
  3. I spiked to 94 then these clouds knocked me down to 91. It’s ova
  4. He was referencing uptons alleged bust. LI is in upton area. How is that not fair game?
  5. So Islip is an inner city now? May want to open a map sometime. Suburban area 45 miles east of the city. Montauk hit 93. Inner city?
  6. Two record highs and records lows were broken in Uptons CWA. JFK, LGA and EWR hit 99. Heat index at Islip and JFK were over 110 for hours. what bust? Seriously, I don’t know what you are referring to.
  7. 92 JFK, 93 at ISP, FOK, 90 FRG at 10 am. another coaster roaster but for clouds ISP would have been a lock for 100. 93 at 10 lol
  8. Disagree. I spiked to 94 and now back down a degree with these clouds, and they are redeveloping further nw. I think the goose is cooked
  9. 93/77. What a jump start. Maybe enough to survive the clouds
  10. If not for the clouds moving in we’d hit 100. 92 already.
  11. 91 already but those clouds from CT are building and will prevent 100 for sure.
  12. Low of 78 here. 89/78/103 now. Same as yesterday at this time.
  13. You know it’s hot when Block island is 90, Montauk 93, Nantucket 87, MVY 92. No relief from the heat anywhere
  14. Last year LI didn’t break 96, this year widespread 97-99
  15. Today was hotter than anything we had last summer.
  16. 84/77 now. Cooled off a bit in the past hour. Maybe we go sub 80 tonight
  17. 87/77/99 now and no wind at all. torrid night coming
  18. Today’s heat probably most impressive on LI in its totality. Many areas 97-99, with dews 75+. That is rare. we have been hotter, but generally when it’s drier. ISP had 96/77/111, that is very impressive, and touched 97. For city and NE NJ nothing special I guess, out here this was memorable for sure. and point and click was too cool out here by about 3
  19. Yea still 91 at 6:45. Usually sea breeze knocked us back a bit to upper 80s.
  20. Yea it’s going to be a very warm night. Was hoping we would cool off a bit more than we have. Still 96/77/112 here
  21. Seabreeze never made it north of LIE. Just sitting here at 97/76/112, you know usual July heat lol
  22. Happened last Sunday too. On a west wind, the air is a downslope and blows across the whole island without going over water. So it actually heats up more as it goes further east. Same reason Boston torches on a west wind. LGA is surrounded by water to the west, so it’s not as hot on West flow days.
