  2. Was hail...line blew through LI and it was definitely hail
  3. The storms last night blew my patio furniture all over the yard, and broke my umbrella and table. Winds had to have been 50+ at some point, with the pounding hail. Was wild.
  4. Some of those were larger than pea size

  8. More wasted November cold, 22 this morning. Snow showers several days this week, then a warm up for December. Sigh.

  10. Temperature plummeted here last night down to 22 degrees. Westhampton currently at 16.
  11. With one day left, this november will go in the middle of the pack in my 7 years here. 2018 and 2019 were much cooler, 2020 much warmer. However, the actual low temperature for the month (currently 27 - maybe beaten tonight) is the highest since 2016. In 2018 i got down to 13 degrees! I forgot how cold that November was.
  12. Not to mention the hourly grid says i have a 0% chance of precip right now
  13. Point and click for today says 42 and sunny. It is currently snowing!
  14. No. The rules say the temp sensor needs to be a certain distance from all objects, including trees. We well know that a canopy of trees leads to cooler weather in the daytime and warmer weather at nightime, as it limits radiational cooling. This is Met 101.
  15. Point and click is completely dry for the next 7 days
  16. I went to college there for 4 years, they wedge pretty well and the higher elevations are more to their NE than the NW, so on a NW flow they dont downslope
  17. Atlanta’s elevation is also 1000 feet ASL. There is no downsloping there either as they sit on the Piedmont.
  18. Oof. I locked in at $2.70 last April so I’m ok for the winter. Hopefully by April 2022 prices have come down
