Any data on how the area ocean temps are relative to normal? I fear this early heat will warm ocean temps so the sea breeze won’t cool us off much come august. As it is these seabreeze fronts haven’t knocked the temp down more than a degree or two away from the coast

I wonder how many animals died in that heat in canada. It was 121 degrees. Cant imagine grizzly bears, etc can survive in that heat.

Peak heat out here was not 3:30, more so 1:30 to 2:30. Island peaks and cools before areas further west.

It makes complete sense...the wind was coming from the east and downsloping.

Wonder if LGA can get 100, they are usually good for a 4 pm bump...but thats usually in July/August, may be too early in the season for that with a SW flow
