There was tornado on the north shore of suffolk county, ny as well.

With rainfall rates of 3-4" in one hour, you can get stuck in traffic when the streets are clear and within 30 min they are under water. Sometimes there is nothing you can do. -
In PA and supposed to be driving back to LI today…I think I’m going to push it back a day…

Relentless rain all day here in the Poconos, around 3.50" or so, winds constantly howling as well. My current location is on top of a hill, elevation around 1800' so rather exposed to these winds. Should easily get to 5" here.

Pouring still in the Poconos, approaching 2.50" of rain now

wind picking up a bit in the Poconos, nothing crazy, but gusts 20-25 blowing the rain around. Approaching 2" here. Rates are moderate so the property flooding hasnt gotten much worse, still ponding everywhere, but nothing crazy yet.

They had a foot of rain here in the past month. I dont buy it...power came back for now thankfully.
