Ripping for real now. LIE and northern state are snow covered. Still 29. Love to see it

Upton had us at 33 this hour, still 28 and snow/graupel. The cold definitely hung tough today out here. South of the LIE is into the 30s so we probably have 30 min before we go to rain

Even if there was an impact why would it only impact night time temps and not day time? That’s what I’m not getting…the lakes only impact the temps at night?

Highs are going to be in the mid 40s for much of this week. Winter ended real fast apparently. No cold in sight

Time to close the shades for a few weeks. I’m sure we will get a few inches of slop in February or March but it isn’t looking good!
