I went to college there for 4 years, they wedge pretty well and the higher elevations are more to their NE than the NW, so on a NW flow they dont downslope

Atlanta’s elevation is also 1000 feet ASL. There is no downsloping there either as they sit on the Piedmont.

Thats different than a tornado outbreak. We are talking strictly the number of tornadoes, not total damage.
