  1. Wind still out of the north, so all of LI is roasting, FRG up to 90 already at 10 am… 90 here as well, my area typically doesn’t do as well when winds are from the north because of my proximity to the sound

  5. Fake seabreeze moved in and just pumped up the dewpoint back to 70

  9. No way that map is accurate. Areas in northern nassau and Suffolk are 4-5” and only show an inch or so. my area is around 2.75”-3”, and further north even more.
  10. The difference between the south shore and north shore is wild. Not sure I’ve ever seen a gradient like that.

  18. 12,000 outages on the island, most in Hicksville, Syosset, Woodbury and Dix Hills.
  19. Winding down now, but still constant thunder. Was a localized downburst here or something, wind went nuts for about a minute, figured we would lose power. Someone on the south shore got smacked.
  20. Wow. Getting bad here. Almost no visibility and winds gusting to 40, frequent lightning. Getting concerned.
