  1. Get some rest pal. It’s just snow. You will get some more this winter, the coast just cashed in this time. No reason to be bitter.
  2. Islip total looks legit. That Medford number is right there. Still snowing out east so I’m sure east hampton etc are higher
  3. Crazy sound effect snow. Someone out there must have 3 feet
  4. My guess is that the enhancement was very significant this storm because of the delta between the sound (in the 40s) and the air temp (low teens). Essentially lake effect aided by the air rising 200-400 feet over the hills on the north shore. if their air temp is 30 this probably doesn’t happen
  5. Every model showed the south shore getting more this storm.
  6. Pretty much done here, 17.5”. Didn’t accumulate much in the past few hours. great storm.
  7. SW Suffolk has been getting pounded for hours. Could be some 2 foot totals down there. Light to moderate snow north of there. Models picked up on this very well, south shore always progged to clean up.
  8. Is that an inverted trough along the spine of the island? West to east band hasn’t moved, slowly sinking south
  9. Worst is done, maybe another inch for Nassau and western Suffolk
  10. I have about that in commack, maybe slightly more since I didn’t get any subsidence today.
  11. Must be. I’m just NE of the worst of that band and we have 1-2” an hour rates again.
  12. 16.5” in western Suffolk county, LI looks like the Connecticut coast got shafted.
  13. Islip verified blizzard for 6 hours straight. Maybe close to a record for them?
  14. Measured an average of 16.5” in nw Suffolk. Another 1-2” on the way. Should finish around 18”
  15. Subsidence zone going to set up somewhere in eastern nassau between those bands.
  16. Pouring snow under that band in nw Suffolk. 2” hour rates easily. incredible snow growth.
