Today was cooler than expected for Long Island. More cloud cover

Much cooler today. 87 earlier, 85 now with a breeze

Low of 74 and no 60s likely for at least a week. We’re in the meat of summer now

Can really hear the offshore thunder. Amazing that the sound and ocean south of the barrier islands both got rocked today. The actual island split the uprights.
