    as of right now slightly above 1.5 here in New City NY,,,,,,,still snowing but very light,,,,congrats to Central Park and you Anthony small victories are still victories = enjoy hopefully we all get some more snow today and then we move on to Friday

    looking at the short range models my guesstimate is around 2 or 3 pm but I am sure one of the more seasoned fellows or fellettes can chime in

    The models and many people in this thread cannot even agree on what will happen IF at all on Tuesday so opening a storm threat thread on what might happen NEXT weekend / 140 plus hours from now = we might as well be talking about what July 4th will look like

    Just read that Clarkstown recorded 4.7 inches of rain,,,,yep it was absolutely pouring

    Yes the winds in that storm were definitely worse,,,,,my lights never flickered last night not once you know how that goes when we see them flickering there's a good chance its going out

    I had friends asking me last night "how is it by you" and I was telling them besides that it was absolutely pouring and I kept checking my basement and garage for water the wind as I said was not bad,,,,I was outside a few times checking the perimeter of my house,,,,,,wild how it varied so close to home

    Reading this and other reports is just amazing as here in New City I went outside a few times and although it was raining ridiculously hard the wind did not seem to not be an issue here at all and you are very close to me

    The Wind has not been an issue here in New City but it has been absolutely pouring out ,,,,,,,,,ahhhhh IF only this had been snow BUT maybe Monday ,,,,,now back to our regularly scheduled rainstorm

    YEP seemed like while others were talking about how great it was in there areas I kept looking outside and we had not much going on here seems this went on for a few hours in New City that said I will take the 4 inches I got and be happy

    Is this beginning earlier than originally expected in areas ? Ps anyone have a radar link thanks in advance

    Pruf, Snowy19 or anyone else, I realize that some models sniff things out and pick up on things better than others but wouldn't the HRRR which is now inside its wheelhouse or another short range model at least show signs of this as well ? Are any other short range models hinting at this ?

    definitely less QPF as it got closer to our area from down South as the model is not spitting out 1 or 1.25 as the other models ( think the nam showed this ) is that because the system is not maintaining strength ?
