Nice to see everything white but I am firmly in the "bummed " camp as so far this winter it seems we have waisted some cold air and setups that woulda - coulda - shoulda been nice and possibly worked out ,,,,,,,,,,but at least the winter is still young and it has some time
very light snow falling in New City Rockland County ,,,,,,,,,,,I don't think any models showed me getting snow here = let's see if this amounts to anything ?
Do any of you guys live South n West of McKenney VA that can tell me whats going on by you ? My son is driving with his family he says it is snowing lightly in McKenney and roads are not bad and treated but I want to know what to expect as he heads towards Durham as he is headed to Charlotte NC ,,,,,any help appreciated thanks

Anyone care to guess at what shape Milton will be in when he gets to the East Coast of Florida, what do you think the strength will be and also any guesstimate as to what part of the East coast he exits at ? MIL is in Boynton Beach but they live inland thankfully and the storm as of now appears at least to me to exit NORTH of them
I have not read thru the thread but I have a question = How often has a Hurricane that has affected Florida originated from the Gulf don't they usually come up from the southern Gulf or loop around after they were initially heading west ? A hurricane starting directly from the southwestern Gulf, like Milton did, and heading due east into Florida's west coast is definitely IMO not common but has THIS ever happened in the past ? Thanks for any replies
