  1. BUF-ROC steamrolled. Little bit less precip in CNY compared to 18z...
  2. Track and 850 temps near identical to 18z run so far, precip more developed on nw side...
  3. First and only forecast on snow amounts in case I end up falling asleep again like last night. Congrats to the BUF-ROC crew on being the forum jackpot for this one! Still like the chances for those of you on the BUF cwa border (Matt, Syrmax etc) to get a low end warning snowfall of around 8". For the rest of us off to the S and E, we will have to accept our slopfest and enjoy the storm vicariously through our our more fortunate posters while hoping the Thursday-Friday storm yields a better result.
  4. The sweating pretty much ceased after 12z runs for BGM to ALB. We will flip to sleet and freezing rain after a few inches of snow. The Finger Lakes to Mohawk Valley are now the sweat zone.
  5. 18z Hi-res Canadian shifted NW from 12z. Accumulation maps @tim123...
  6. Biggest detriment to this event is this storm hauls ass out of here. 18z Euro has everyone except NNY drying out before 15z Tuesday...
  7. If a warning, probably a WSW up your way since there would be atleast some snow and sleet beforehand. Possibly ISW for atleast some of their lower Hudson county zones though where it looks like it's entirely a rain vs freezing rain event.
  8. Some 18z Euro frames. In addition to a little NW and wetter, also a little warmer I think...
  9. 18z Euro slp track looks a little NW vs. 12z and possibly wetter...
  10. BGM update makes a solid case for their reasoning and points out some things to watch for...
  11. 12z EPS for Thur-Fri... Following the OP, noticeable reduction/SE shift in precip and snowfall mean but still a nice look for this far out.
  12. 12z EPS for Mon-Tue is near identical to 6z in mean precip amounts. For snowfall mean, just a very slight SE nudge in axis but also an increase in snowfall as goalposts continue to narrow...
  13. WNY and NNY definitely the place to be this week for sure. BUF, ROC, and SYR are poised to make up some significant ground on BGM for YTD snowfall.
  14. Euro snowfall maps for Thur-Fri... 10:1 Pre-storm Kuchera Post-storm Kuchera
  15. Euro precip for Thur-Fri only. Along with the SE shift in track, precip also cut for most places vs. 0z... 12z 0z
  16. Euro a little SE of 0z run for Thur-Fri. Maps coming shortly.
  17. BGM will probably only upgrade the BUF border counties from Steuben to Oneida to a warning with the afternoon update. The rest of the CNY zones either hold onto their Watch or get converted to a WWA is my guess given the level of uncertainty.
