  1. I think we are done for snow for the season other then maybe an inch or two some nights in march that's gone by 11am due to the sun angle. 26.3" so far is awful based on what's coming up in march it appears. Edit: time to drain the backyard ice rink next Tuesday, it's toast.
  2. Hit 60 for the first time in 2022. Forecasted high of 58, went up to 61.0

  4. Just dropped 14.1 degrees in 10 minutes. edit: 53.8 to 37.4 in 20 mins. Guess the front is here.
  5. You are right I’m just dreaming that this 1.61” was somehow snow lol. Still 53.4 out.
  6. Maybe this goes in the banter thread but how come we get huge rain events in Feb but when it’s cold enough for snow we get the dry slot? I’m at 3.14” for the month in rain.
  7. Made it to 57.2 today. Not bad, finally losing some of that ice.
  8. Off and on snow showers. Problem is get a coating and it’s gone in 20 minutes even with the temp at 23
  9. Ended up 5.7 degrees above NWS forecast from 7am this morning.
  10. Already at 50.1 with a NWS forecast high of 49. They always underestimate the warm air in the winter. Edit: up to 52.7 and climbing.
  11. I’m fine honestly if it’s warm here on out. I’d say we had a great January in terms of cold.
  12. Not much going on now but I went back to the 2018-2019 thread and saw we had two downgrades from WSW to WWA. That’s crazy. I’m actually in a bad mood now lol. One of the forecasts from the nws actually said this and it is making my blood boil because I know how that turned out. Its not an exaggeration to state that a difference of 40 or 50 miles will be the difference between 1 to 2 inches of snow and 8 to 12 inches of snow.
  13. Up to 2” for the storm now. Close to 1” yesterday and 1” of snow today. I’ll take it.
  14. Was supposed to get 4”, got less than 1” unless somehow I can squeak out a little this morning. Changed to snow early enough, but then amazingly the storm dried up.
  15. Just went outside. I’m being generous when I say 1” of sleet snow mix on the ground.
  16. Starting a project today. Going to track last forecasted snowfall for each storm for my location and final measurement. Interested to see over 10-15 storms how accurate the last forecast is and if on average the forecast is high or low and by how much.
  17. Yes just scraped both cars about a tenth of an inch on the windshield. Had to pry open the doors but got them open. About 1/4” of sleet. Now all snow but very dry and small flakes. Been doing that for 20-30 minutes and no accumulation.
  18. weather channel has it changing to all snow at 1:30am then snow until 4 the then “snow showers until 7am. LOL
