If this is it, I give the winter overall a C+.
-
Have about 7” on average across the yard.

2” here so far. Roads now just starting to get covered and the driveway. 12:20 AM.

-
I’ll take 4-6” all day long.
-
I wonder where the water channel is pulling from. 1-3” tomorrow night then 1” or less Saturday. That’s 2-4” max.
Very glad to hear more agreement than usual on the models. Maybe that bodes we’ll for us here. -
If I’m not mistaken GFS has been colder and had high snowfalls the last few storms and caves at the last minute. Seems to be the truth is in the middle so a 2-5” storm seems about right. I’ll take it at this point!
-
Ended up with about 2” max which is now almost melted on hard surfaces. Grass still covered. It’s stopped snowing.
-
2" here. The heaviest band is about 20 miles to the south of me. A very nice surprise today.
-
-
It's gone already. Can really start to see the impact of the sun angle changing. Only 25 but melting like it's 40 in the sun.
-
Surprise coating last night / this morning.

Just a weird phenomena.
Great so we overperform in the winter with warmth when we want snow, but when it's summer and the heat is good for swimming it doesn't. I am not happy about this lol.
-
Do we typically overperform in the summer too? I’d take that if we had forecasts of 88 and hit 92.
-
I agree just a more what have you done for me lately lol. Sucks last year in December when we had that great storm I was moving. And didn’t get to enjoy it but that’s on me.
-
I’ve learned over the past few years that whatever we are expecting to cut that snowfall total by 30-50% and that’s what we end up with. Again no facts to back this up just venting
-
I like this banter thread. I can whine and complain about what a crappy winter it's been compared to my expectations lol.

It wasn’t even warning level for a lot of us.
I only got about 7” vs. a forecast of 12”
I also meant to say warning level as in we were under a warning
-
I agree. Just like when there is a storm when it's close but we are on the rain side we get drenched but when it's cold enough for snow we get the dry slot lol. All I wanted this winter was 1 warning level event and we got that. Just stinks to waste a February.

I think we are done for snow for the season other then maybe an inch or two some nights in march that's gone by 11am due to the sun angle. 26.3" so far is awful based on what's coming up in march it appears.
Edit: time to drain the backyard ice rink next Tuesday, it's toast. -
Hit 60 for the first time in 2022. Forecasted high of 58, went up to 61.0
-
Only a dusting to 1/4” here but hit 41.2 wind gust.

Could we hit 85 Sunday? Looks like 80 should be pretty much a done deal at this point, no?
