  1. are there any analogs or similiar periods to compare to what is currently being modeled?
  2. GFS / Euro / CMC all show the ULL exiting quicker than the 0z runs .. Saturday is looking a lot better now!
  3. Thats an impressive ensemble mean - let alone for late April. We just hope for a dynamic solution, otherwise its meh
  4. very blocky pattern in mid-long range, CMC and GFS Op runs tonight have some miserable solutions ugh
  5. I wish! Literally a mid-winter storm in April .. look how cold the airmass is:
  6. 18z NAM gone wild .. really gets that secondary going quick. Obviously just posted for the laughs. Even at KBOS by hr 75 its a snow sounding
  7. the cell entering Berkshire county by Pittsfield looks potent, must be some dimes at least from that
  8. these rates are nuts .. KORH and KBOS are on pace for over 0.5" this hour
  9. 0.62 in the bucket at PVD the past 2 hours .. impressive
  10. gotta love the run to run consistency from the NAM .. looks like it would flip to rain into S NH
  11. Agreed, 18z NAM was a solid look but close to something much bigger IMO .. meanwhile the GFS is fish food
  12. take 'em down .. turned out to be more like U50s - M60s .. some torchy spots like KBED did get to 70 though
  13. all jokes aside .. I do think we'll see widespread 65-70 by mid afternoon
  14. we watch 3/24 and potentially 3/25 - 3/26 as well?
  15. meso models have the bdcf reaching NE MA overnight
  16. ORH: Big time gradient between BOS / ORH
  17. I only referred to the 3km NAM run regarding low level temps overnight. Not w/e it does when it goes crazy with convection tmrw
  18. 18z NAM 3km shows cold tuck w/ sub 32 degree temps for a lot of E/C MA northwest of 128 overnight something to keep an eye on anyway
  19. maybe if you universally add 3-5 degrees everywhere .. We can be sure there will be a cold tuck but TBD what type of T/TD we are advecting in from SE NH / SW ME Thur evening and Night
  20. ran straight outa ct blizz's basement: https://vortex.plymouth.edu/WRF/wrf_over_d3_Large.html this model is always entertaining when there is a cold tuck in play
