    I think there might be an issue with the smoke originating out of the domain of the HRRR so it isn't picking it up? At least I remember reading something like that on twitter last week. Pretty sure I saw a RAP product showing the smoke though.

    4/17/02 .. even at the old site (1892 - 1948ish) the earliest 90 was 4/20/1941 also prior to today, the earliest 87 (or greater) was 4/16/2012

    euro tries to make a run for 90 at the torch spots next friday as currently modeled, next week is about as good as it gets in april

    Model skill in the medium / long range def goes down this time of year. It shouldn't be surprising to see big run to run changes at extended lead times.

    you had a great outlook but snow is so difficult to predict .. if this winter played out 10 times, this has to be bottom 2 in snowfall.

    4.1" final, probably the most disappointing storm since the march 2010 retro storm 28.7" on the season - on track to be the worst since at least 01/02? maybe 94/95?

    Nice! Up to 2.1" here as of 11. Best rates of the day as it looks like the "firehose" is pivoting just in time to avoid the dry slot.

    After ripping 1" / hr from 7:45-9:30, rates went way down .. looks like its about to pick up again though
