  1. 82/77, impressive for how little sun so far
  2. I'd watch that cell by the VT/NH/MA border
  3. can see the BDCF clearly defined on vis sat 84/74
  4. should be a couple solid storms and potentially localized FF threat? I agree with the area you are outlining .. feels like I-190 / I395 corridor on the east side of the hills could be where the BDCF losses momentum and where the activity is focussed
  5. Agreed! Perhaps what we are seeing in more recent modeling is exactly this.
  6. 12z NAM might be the slowest with the front yet
  7. same here .. running about 3.5 F ahead of yesterday
  8. Slight tendency to slow down BDCF arrival on Friday? Would be nice to slow it down a couple more hours to have a chance to break this heat with some storms.
  9. so how's the GFS looking for Fri / Sat? Asking for a friend
  10. 88/77, gotta love those backyard dews
  11. Against the warmest 30 yr avg too ..
  12. tough month for them .. already +4 MTD at ORH with the torch yet to come. Decent chance this goes down as the warmest June ever there
  13. looks like there could be another round overnight 3z - 8z ish?
  14. looks like clearing working its way to ORH .. not ideal but should be enough
  15. Higher end potential verbatim .. keeps low lvl flow more out of the west
  16. I’d like to see more run to run continuity from the EURO before going big Also, have we ever had 600+ dm heights at 500 over New England historically? Maybe 1911 was close?
  17. GFS is very impressive this run too .. long duration heat
  18. high end heat potential day 9/10 on the 0z EURO would like to see this within D7 on modeling to feel more confident
  19. Absolutely - The current pattern has been difficult to shake .. just when it looked like it was turning, we had another ill timed -NAO / +PNA episode. I'll say though if we get the typical strong Niño to strong La Niña transition summer pattern, good chance July / AUG roast and we make a run for the hottest summer of all time.
