    I think it was 2018(?) we saw a similar set up with a front end thump to sleet to rain and back to snow but the valley north of 40 never really ever changed over because of CAD up against the upper Cumberland into eastern Kentucky mountains. I ended up with 8-10” where Ober Gatlinburg was mostly rain with temps in the mid 40’s. .

    FYI.... it’s around 33-34 In my area. Only made it to 36 and the high was supposed to be 42. Not worried as of now but I will say my DP has fallen off to around 29-30 degrees. It’s possible this might start as sleet or ZR in the northern valley. .

    You are in probably one of the best places (or worst) for severe storms in Tennessee. .

    One thing that’s a fact.... whatever falls ain’t melting and there shouldn’t be much compaction with how dry it will be. .

    I really don’t know what they look at sometimes. If anyone of the mods went warmer it could be the NAM but they wrote the AFD like several mods have been trending all day. [emoji2369] .

    MRX is saying in their disco that the trend today has been much warmer for the valley Monday night and Tuesday. They don’t expect anything in the valley. .
