  1. I’m so glad you are getting in on this, even if it’s 2-4”. My buddy in Cleveland has been asking me all week what’s going to happen. I told him he’s on a line where 2 or 3 miles might be the difference in all or nothing. .
  2. Halls is Maynardville light so… lol.. my wife is from Union County. .
  3. The moisture feed goes all the way back to Tx/La border. The bigger question is when does the whole feed start to shift SE. As long as @John1122 and our friend on the northern Plateau continues to see snow we are fine in the valley. Like John just said…. The radar doesn’t look great NW of Knoxville but the snow is there. It’s colder to the NW of Knoxville so the DGZ is lower and that area is in a radar dead zone. The radar is likely shooting over the top of the snow. .
  4. Actually that might not be good for them. That could be, likely bright banding. When snow is in the process of melting on the way down it expands, gets bigger. When it gets bigger it shows up on radar as extremely heavy precipitation. I’ve been under those before and it could be light rain switching back and forth to fat mush flakes. .
  5. Temp around 28 but the DP is 25. That’s should keep my temp from going up and keep me all snow right? .
  6. TWC app has me at -6 for Wednesday morning. Don’t like that .
  7. Dang. That usually works for me. Definitely A server issue .
  8. Almost to 4” now. Really coming down. https://x.com/jeepvols/status/1746924900508471347?s=46&t=LVg8BRWCh1zZb6F_t95EVg .
  9. I’m between 3-3.5” in Halls with medium sized flakes coming down at a good rate. If you zoom in to the house, you can see the flake size pretty well. .
  10. I was literally about to ask about the foothills because 40-50dbz showing up on radar .
  11. Parts of Nashville has really over performed. My buddy east of Nashville in Mt Juliet has 5-6” .
  12. I’m a little over 3” now and you can see the radar is matching up to that dollop the mods have shown for 3 or 4 days in the central/eastern valley around Knoxville. This has really grown the last 45 min. .
  13. There’s a 30dbz blob about to move over us in 15 min .
  14. You can see on the NAM it’s picking up on the colder thermals in SE Tennessee and along the foothills. The NW precipitation line hasn’t really changed much from 00z Sunday but obviously there’s been a nice SE adjustment. .
  15. Surprised at what’s falling vs what’s on radar. This is moderate snow with 50% fatties mixed in. .
  16. Not sure if MRX turned the sensitivity up on the radar or what but picking up returns on the plateau is very encouraging. .
  17. Someone somewhere at some point will have temp issues but for the life of me I can’t imagine it being on the west side of the apps. I thought it was possible someone might have a mixing issue at the onset but after we meet the correct temp profile for snow, I can’t imagine it getting disrupted during the event. Maybe in Georgia but not above the State line. .
  18. Buddy in Franklin south of Nashville has flurries now. .
