  1. Most likely a large tornado on the ground moving towards Dalton Ga .
  2. Cell south of Chattanooga will cross 75 in about 30 min. Rotation getting tighter but nothing on CC yet. .
  3. This cell south of Chattanooga might lay down a monster .
  4. You are correct. I didn’t look far enough west. My bad. .
  5. I’m not even seeing the pre cold front storms that are supposed to hit after midnight across Tennessee getting going. HRRR had it, lost it and now has it again but I’m not sure it happens now. .
  6. I don’t believe it will but it might not matter either way because the atmosphere is not mixed anymore because of all the rain. I think central Ga to SC is the new track. .
  7. I believe there’s 2 WF. The other one is along the Tennessee boarder. The one pictured to the south is holding back the return flow where the big tornados are churning. .
  8. That’s pretty much the wall cloud sitting on the ground rotating around the tornado. .
  9. Welp... sun is poking through in Knoxville .
  10. Not sure where you are see that. For the most part I’ve read that nothing is off the table. So much uncertainty with this. .
  11. This looks like the WF stays south of Tennessee IMO. .
  12. Oh gees... depending on the track of the storms, that’s a southern valley pipeline. I’m extremely interested in seeing if the mountains help back the winds like they did in 2011 or if they influence rotation. We were lucky that beast that tracked from Monroe to Blount Co stayed in the mountains. .
  13. Interesting. I thought MTn, especially SMTn would end up getting the brunt of this .
  14. That puts most of Tennessee in the game right? .
  15. I think this is possible. Kinda depends on where the boundary gets laid down at. .
  16. Jeff... how much influence could the cluster moving out of Ohio into Virginia effect our area? I’m worried it could lay down a secondary boundary somewhere across ETn and possibly enhance the storms by adding more shear, or even causing the surface winds to back a little. Thoughts? .
  17. I noticed temps are mid/upper 60’s for Sunday but you wonder if the mods are having issues with return flow this far out? .
  18. Have heard that catastrophic damage near Cherokee AL .
  19. I agree we don’t need any severe weather at this point but if we are looking for a positive in this, it looks like the system will not produce prolonged rain which we obviously do not need. .
  20. That cell has had at least broad rotation for a long time. Look at the meso track of this storm .
  21. Take a look at this screenshot from the Cookeville tornado and tell me what I’m missing. Obviously the CC on the left shows the debris field in blue. Why isn’t there a strong TVS sig showing up on the right in Velocity? Also the rotation below Cookeville, could it have hindered the radar from picking up rotation on the Cookeville storm that far from the radar? .
