    If they are right here about the weather, either they are going to have to re-evaluate in the morning or it's going to be a cluster commute. Even with reduced in-person, that's still alot of federal and federal related people moving on roads in way of plows.

    I feel they got lucky in 2010... but over the last few years I would rather just come here and lurk. (I feel bad , we have a family connection to one of them too... but seriously, had to give it up mainly because of the comments)

    She is up there making it snow, she knows how much I needed it.

    Mine passed last week, my daughter just asked if she would have enjoyed the snow. The falling snow hid the tears.

    I want to know what's up with CWG (the staff) and the commenters in there. They keep acting like this is going to be 1" and done, when there is widespread 1+" by 5pm.

    Because there are still a significant amount that can't telework. And when you and your office mates live in a 60 mile circle from work (say Winchester, Maryland, Culpeper, Fredericksburg) you realize just how important OPM is to keeping people off the roads. Thousands.

    When I got almost two gallons, the kid asked “do you need a spoon?” Like I was going to eat it in the parking lot.

    My grass is still poking out so I’m at bruesters overbuying half gallons of ice cream to help drive their sales today. We are doing milkshakes once the school caves.

    Here I am driving around in my EV purchased during the snow drought for the first time. Make it about a mile and realize the snow is collecting nicely on the hood as I am driving. and not melting since no engine heat. I am wondering what happens in a REAL snow while driving?

    How big was feb 2003? I moved here the 22nd, drove in driving rain from Dallas to the va border where it turned to snow. I know the government did a two hour delay o/a 24 feb. I’ve got a picture of the car sometime after that “for the folks back in Texas.”

    I thought it was mm or something. I mean I am not going to hate what it shows, but if that >1 was a bigger number, it would have been better.
