  1. Stebo! What do you make of that doughnut hole in SW Ohio. 1. What is that? 2. Is it a dry slot. 3. Will it affect us in NW OH and SE MI??
  2. Flakes big, or small but efficient?? Still waiting for it to pick up here.
  3. Things getting started pretty good in Toledo. Hat it when the flake size takes some time to build, but radar looks solid. What does everyone make of the dry slot in SW Ohio. Where will that track?
  4. Flake size a little small, but it's early. Always makes me nervous at first.
  5. Just getting started here in NW OH/SE MI. Looking like a solid foot+ in most areas. Jealous of the folks out west that got to see a little day time snow. But very fortunate we won't get visited by the infamous dry slot, as we usually do. To the METS out there. Do you think our predicted numbers are legit??
  6. kind of what I was afraid of. Darn. Can you see that in a Water Vapor? Just love to learn TY
  7. Do you all think that batch of snow is central Illinois will hold together as it heads northeast?? would be another bonus inch for much of us if it does. Plus it's our second course to our 3 course meal. My wife calls this my "Super Bowl". At least i'm not alone
  8. It's nice that we'll have a solid week to really enjoy this. Truly a dream come true around these parts considering climo and all.
  9. For those in SE MI, it's mind boggling how DTX wont issue warnings, especially when thier own graphics and grids clearly depict a high impact event(during two commutes). Lucas county(Toledo) is often treated this way by CLE. They definitely tread their periphery differently. See for yourself. Those two counties to the south have a WWA.
  10. Good thinking but just go with a WSW for the sake of simplicity.
  11. I gotta ask the question again. If this keeps trending stronger/amped, could Blizzard conditions materialize somewhere. And if so, where's the most likely place.
  12. Quite the turn of events in SE MI/NW OH, and much of the sub for that matter. There's gotta be some talk of Blizzard Conditions in this area. Combination of more wound up system, high ratio, winds, etc. Can any METS speak to this, or is my inner weenie speaking?
  13. Really curious as to what things will look like in the morning once all this can be digested.
  14. Transfer seems to be a bit delayed as well. Low makes it further into southern PA
  15. I think we all were literally typing at the same time. Serious nerding out here. Most people are doing this on a Saturday night, Right??
  16. Quick math on the above is 30:1. Perhaps 20:1 is more realistic.
  17. It's just mind boggling to look at the Euro, and to almost discount 75% of the wester edge. Some Mets are probably gonna lose some sleep over that. To be 10-15" on the Euro, and 2-5 on the GFS......Normally I'd be ecstatic 36 hours out.
  18. Yes Please!! I remember that shift oh so well
  19. That is eye candy for a large part of the sub due duration, at the very least. I know it's the RAP but watching it snow like that on a descent snow pack with temps in the teens is awesome!
  20. Definitely get the step kid feeling over here sometimes.
  21. Funny, I used to dread the NW trend, now I'm begging for it.
  22. Sarcasm aside, do you see this coming back a little bit??
  23. Thanks for the insight. It just really makes you wander which way this is gonna go. I've fought the NW trend all my life, now i'm fighting the SE trend. Maybe it's time to move, lol.
