Are you referring to the storm on the 15th-sh? That was not a quick hitter for NW Ohio. Toledo express measured 14.1" from that storm alone. I intentionally measured the depth just prior as I have never seen that snow depth in my 45 years in T-Town.

We officially had 14" at Toledo express airport and that was on top of a solid 6" snow pack. We officially set our all time depth record from that storm. Pretty crazy. Glad my kids got to experience it....All thought I may have been more excited.

100 or a 1000 years from now it will be recognized as the shifting of the seasons..LOL. Everything does start subtle, but it begs the question.

I'm gonna lose my mind with the Winter Forecasts. Two forecast below almost the "polar" opposite of each other. What gives?? Just seems a little extreme to me for Thanksgiving?? Those temps in the northern Midwest are crazy cold. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it.

Same! Except they aren't lady bugs. They were bred years ago to eradicate Japanese beetles. It kind of back fired and now we have these "Lady Bug" look a likes that are annoying as hell and bite.

Tweeted with Judah and he mentioned the Euro Model was on to this as well. I'd feel better if it was the last half of November though. Foundation setting stuff for a solid first half of Winter. Then let it warm up as far as I'm concerned. One thing I love about this guy is how he responds to almost all inquiries. Pretty stand up guy.

I've been banking on that signal for the past few years and it hasn't delivered at all. Was huge during the 13-14 winter but that was it.

Interesting... I thought there was some correlation to the Southern Hemi Winter and the Northern. Maybe it was what south america experienced could be foretelling. Curious.

When it comes at the end of November....that's a different story. Some of my favorite winters had that twist. Late 70's Mid 80's 2005, 2013, 2014

Those of us in the lower lakes region have to recognize this up coming system as about the perfect set-up for an epic winter storm....of course it's late September and we'll never get it to happen in January.

Not sure if this already came up or not, but in my 45 years of existence, i've never witnessed a year where the cotton didn't fly. It's probably one of the most pleasant changes i've seen. I'm guessing it's from mid may cold snap we experienced in NW Ohio. Any enlightenment is welcome. I'm more of a micro physics guy so this is outside my wheelhouse.

Here in Toledo we have 5", so far. Crazy to see 5" on the my table but a dusting on the concrete. Will probably hit 7" before compaction.

Man! Never saw Toledo get so much attention. Of course it comes in an off season snow storm when Nobody wants it! 5" before compaction......2-3" when everybody actually see's it at 7am...........gone by 1pm
