    Boston peeps. I was up in your neck of the woods today in Wilmington. It was super nice out and good vis. I got some sweet pictures of the Boston skyline from about 12 miles away. I’ll post them up here soon.

    Natural disasters have been happening since the dawn of the earth. Nothing new. Will continue to happen for the entire life of the earth. It just is what it is. No one is hoping for anyone to get injured or worse. We are just extremely deprived of interesting WX and want to see something happen. do I want to live a week without electricity… No, but that’s why I have a genny.

    I just don’t understand then I guess. according to both reflectivity and velocity radar I was in the strongest section of the storm where I was. Warren/Morris area at the time. With maybe 15-20mph gusts.

    I really don’t understand why half of these storms around here get warned. Literally a rainstorm with some lighting.

    Just had a really strong gust in Torrington. Better than most severe storms we’ve gotten this summer and there wasn’t a storm for 25 miles.
