  1. Weird setup on that line tonight. Outflow boundary blew out ahead of the main line on approach to WNY and just got hung up over the lake. Looks like it made a bit of a firing line for storms moving NE off the outflow.
  2. This line was a bear! Came roaring off Huron with a waterspout that turned into a massive tornado. I would freaking die if I saw this coming at me…
  3. With the crazy weather this year it only makes sense! Did you see that whole run?
  4. AFD adds heavy downpours NE of Lake Erie overnight… and a marine notice for some SPOOTS overnight into the morning!
  5. Might be some early morning storms around WNY. 18z runs were tossing around line of storms in morning. 0z HRRR has WNY ripe for some storms 6am-10am ish… See what rest of runs show…
  6. Not as noticeable but the official temperature is still the warm spot at night in that area.
  7. I wonder if they are having a calibration issue again like last year. Current map they stand out as being 5-6 degrees higher than anyone else. The issue last year stood out not when looking at daytime highs for some reason but the overnight low temps were always above the surrounding stations. Here is today’s data highs of 71 and 70.3… but look at the lows. KBUF only went down to 57 while the next closest station dropped to 51.6
  8. I would be freaking the f out right there. Your not making it up that stair case. Did these people make it out?
  9. So last week NYC set a record 1 hour rainfall total during Henri. Now this week they broke it again with Ida. Can’t deny it… the storms systems are getting stronger…
  10. Check out the tornado warning overlay. That was a long lived big tornado.

  12. Going into Trenton NJ metro here. Not as big but has very violent motion with it…
  13. Ummm spring? lol. I think the humidity fogging up your brain. We’re at 64 pages. Let’s get a fresh start for fall going. Ready to get the lake effect season going!
  14. We might have a chance with these tonight! But fizzle fizzle still on the table.
  15. I really hope the COViD don’t take this team down. They could break all kinds of records with how they look right now!
  16. Cuse got the sizzle sizzle but Buffalo got the fizzle fizzle… That was somewhat disappointing…
  17. FFW now for NYC metro already over 7” of rain today and that one band has pretty much just stalled out right over NE Jersey and NYC metro. Lot of moisture being thrown back from core of “annnnreeee” if that band sits there all night could be some big problems…
  18. Southern Ontario has been poppin this year! We’re getting sprinkles and they got tornadoes…
