The storms on Mississippi side are largely messy and linear, with the exception of storms in the northern part of the state.

That’s true. As for the HRRR, it came in pretty substantially different. Doesn’t look nearly as bad as the 18z HRRR imo

That run of the HRRR is about as bad as it gets. It continues to trend in the wrong direction. Hopefully that doesn’t continue.

It’s not really a misinterpretation, the query that he was running just wasn’t nuanced enough to pick up the difference. The fact that one additional day should be excluded, only makes the wording for tomorrow even more unusual. Certainly seems we could be on the verge of a historic event.
