  2. .02 for the day so far (thru 5 Pm) here in Worcester, PA. Only .34 for the month. Grass is getting a little "crunchy" sound to it when walked on.
  3. Worcester, PA. .27 last night. Looks like about average for the area , but saw some .5 and some .6 not far away. .5 so far this month.
  4. Worcester, Pa. My total for the 2 days of showers was .96. Grass looks a little better for now. I think I read we need about .20 per day in June to offset the evaporation rate. Not sure how accurate that is.
  5. Worcester, PA. picked up .24 before and after midnight. .26 for the week. 2.20" for the month. The new drought map as of this AM shows the changing (drying) conditions. (Map is based on data from Tuesday)
  6. The T-Storm watch certainly covers a lot of area Makes sense based on the radar.
  7. Worcester, PA. 93.9 with a few clouds at the moment. High so far 94.8 Feels Like 108.5 - had been 110. Lawns are starting to show the heat and lack of rain.
  8. Worcester, PA. Montgomery County. PA 1.2" so far for the day. 2.75" for the ongoing event. Gust to 21.7 which is not a big deal, but the the saturated ground is causing some tree issues with power problems.
  9. Worcester, PA. 1.24" of rain as of 9:25 AM Radar looks like a lot more to come. 41.5 degrees. Miserable day.
  10. Worcester, PA. 4.5 ". Tree limbs already coming down . If it keeps up or gets windy we will have power problems.
  11. Montgomery County PA - just got upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning.

  15. Worcester, PA. 30.6 (previously up to 32.7 ) steady light snow. DP 30.0 Roads covered. Several vehicle accidents in area.
  16. Worcester, PA. Low this AM was 20.5. I'm in a tradionally cold spot so this is not unusual for such a morning. My son a few miles away was 21.5 so I think it is correct. We need some rain. (or better yet - some snow, but have to keep it reasonable).
  17. Worcester, PA. 397 lightning strikes on my counter for a 20 mile radius. Not sure how accurate, but there was a lot of stikes on the map 0.00 in the rain gauge. Thought I might be wasting my time this AM with watering the flowers, but looks like I made the right call.
  18. Worcester, PA. My 7 days rain total Sunday thru Saturday is .48". Still an hour and a half to go, but looks like nothing else coming. An area on radar looks like it is weakening and also probaly miss to the north anyway. Kind of the story of hit and miss showers and storms (as told by a miss participant). 2.9" for the month. Grass is not that bad as the numerous days of clouds helped with less drying out.
  19. Worcester, PA. .77 of rain - coming to and end soon. Gust to 32. House hit with working building fire in Perkiomen Twp. Montgomery Cty.
  20. Worcester, PA. .01 rain. Pretty much nothing. Just to the east my son had .06 and then further toward Lansdale it was more. I guess better than nothing for those over that way.
  21. Worcester, PA. Couple of drops (literally - you could easily count them on pavement), but did drop temp from a high of 81 down to 68. Was 46 this AM. Wind did gust to 32 during the "storm". Unless something else pops up - that looks like about it for the day.
  22. Worcester, PA.. got up to 96 today. No rain here. Some rumbles of thunder while the storms passed to our east and south. Lightning counter shows 5 strikes (supposedly in a 20 mile radius) 3 hours ago. Lawns are really starting to show it. Only .15 here the whole month of May. There was some rain tonight (.07 and another station with .05) not too far to the east of my location - maybe 3 miles away.
  23. Dry month so far. Worcester, PA. (Montgomery County) .14 for the whole month.
