  1. Very good snow growth here in the BTV area with everything pasted nicely. This is a good start.
  2. I feel bad for anyone in that screw zone. Obviously this was probably the one chance for the year and to be in there just hurts.
  3. I think the really bright lights on the far horizon toward the middle are from Montreal with Burlington as you said to the left side of the pic on the far horizon. As for the bright white lights on the left I am not sure.
  4. This is their shot from last night. They said it was brief and it doesn't appear it was super bright.
  5. I missed it last night. I didn't think a G1 would be enough to do it.
  6. At 6:11pm I had about a 30 second appearance near South Hero, VT:
  7. Just had a brief appearance with a couple of pillars. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
  8. Nothing visible as the Kp decreases once again. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
  9. It is clearing on the lake. I will give it a try Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
  10. It's back! Kp near 7 Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
  11. G2 in progress. We will see if we can some breaks in the clouds. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah it is absolutely about as faint as possible there and definitely wouldn't be naked eye visible. The Bz was not in good position before the clouds rolled in. Those farther west in the US got a show later once it flipped south again.
  13. Got an aurora alert this evening. I didn't see anything out there just before clouds rolled in though. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
  14. There is a G2 now but of course it is 2:30pm LOL.
  15. Very cool yeah there may be more tonight if that G2 verifies.
  16. Looks like the X8 flare on the sun's limb was enough to at least send some of the CME in our direction. We may see up to G2 storming tonight or more likely tomorrow night. The forecast is favorable for viewing as far as the weather goes. Obviously timing is everything. The moon phase is waning which is good as well.
  17. Yes the pink was definitely naked eye visible and you could clearly see the color. These were only 4-6 second exposures at 1250 ISO. It didn't last long but it was bright when it was there.
  18. A couple of more form last night. The rod to the left of the tree was actually south of due west.
  19. Thank you and yeah we got a lucky break in the clouds for a couple of hours. Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
