  1. The SER is relentless and I am becoming increasingly confident RDU will zero out this year.
  2. Looks like everyone will be pulling up a seat in the sanitarium soon enough. Not good.
  3. It is horrible. I am moving on to severe season.
  4. I am working today so I will have to stay put in the tropics. Enjoy the latest round up there!
  5. The clock is running and we may get a pattern shift just in time for rain and 40s in March lol.
  6. Honestly I am not realistically seeing much other than continued death by way of the southeast ridge.
  7. Nice sunrise this morning above the clouds
  8. 49 inches so far at the Arizona Snowbowl with the latest rounds of snow.
  9. Nevermind you are skipping to the system after that LOL
  10. The Euro is an inland runner. This can easily go cutter like the rest.
  11. I am hoping there will be another upslope opportunity to get up there this winter. Here is one more from my short trip up:
  12. If you go by the operational models it is a dumpster fire for those outside the mountains. We are basically looking to February already. Not good.
  13. I had to chase today up to the NC mountains as they are in quite an upslope event today into the weekend. Some will see over a foot before it is over. Felt like my time in VT up there today. Hope there is a big turnaround for everyone this season at some point.
  14. Rain and sleet in Raleigh with an occasional flake
  15. This isn't the best photo composition wise but it shows the conditions as a heavier burst rolled through outside of Banner Elk. This is a wide angle lens too.
  16. A pair of snow caked tree drone shots from off the road up Beech (my GoPro SD card corrupted unfortunately as a side note):
  17. This is from the road up to Beech Mountain. I only wish I could stay for the whole event. I am happy I got to see it for sure. This is a cell grab. Aerials and video coming after I get back to Raleigh.
  18. So you're telling me there's a chance: Friday Night A slight chance of rain before 1am, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 1am and 4am, then a slight chance of snow after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  19. Upslope is a mesoscale feature so can't just go with every slight tick on the models. It is very likely it will snow either way.
