    I had to chase today up to the NC mountains as they are in quite an upslope event today into the weekend. Some will see over a foot before it is over. Felt like my time in VT up there today. Hope there is a big turnaround for everyone this season at some point.

    This is from the road up to Beech Mountain. I only wish I could stay for the whole event. I am happy I got to see it for sure. This is a cell grab. Aerials and video coming after I get back to Raleigh.

    So you're telling me there's a chance: Friday Night A slight chance of rain before 1am, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 1am and 4am, then a slight chance of snow after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

    Upslope is a mesoscale feature so can't just go with every slight tick on the models. It is very likely it will snow either way.
