We had about a half inch at home but I of course had to chase once more during the day and did so between Red Oak and Wylliesburg, VA. I was there in time for the real heavy band which was awesome. Here is some of what I captured:
I chased again today to areas just south of Keysville. I can only imagine what accumulations would have been had it been a night hit but that was a solid band for awhile..
I am not sure yet where I will be able to get to today due to work. At the very least I will get to the border area. I do expect Raleigh will pretty much zero out on this one as well.
The snow hits behind the front so what is happening ahead of it is not as important. Most areas probably will start as some rain before changing over. The previous event was WAA this one is more anafrontal with cold air feeding in (Cold Air Advection).
