  1. Honestly, we could use a solid 2" - 4" soaking rain over the course of 24 hours. The hit or miss stuff thus summer hasn't done much to assuage our dry conditions.
  2. Apologies for mis-reading you. Haven't had a snow storm greater than 6" since we moved to Baltimore County in August 2016.

  6. Yup. The year without a summer.
  7. I don't think people realize how lucky we are to be average temps with a 597dm ridge over us. We're dodging freight trains here weather wise this year.
  8. Collards, broccoli, spinach, beets, garlic, onions.

  12. I can't remember the last time we was ever right on a winter call.
  13. The Potomac was smoking this morning. Definitely a late summer morning.
  14. Garlic ordered. Harvested 50 tomatoes yesterday for canning from 3 plants. Another 200+ tomatoes ripening for our reserves.
  15. Out in Sheperdstown for the weekend. Absolutely beautiful evening.
  16. Parts of the Imperial Valley are going to top out in the low 110° degree range today for air temperature. In a few days, they're going to get as much as 3 times their annual rainfall. What a wild time to be alive.
  17. The SAL is just killing the Atlantic basin
