  1. Noticeable increase in snowflake size in New Windsor in the past 30 min.
  2. That radar gap is starting to close near Cumberland. Looks good.
  3. You can definitely tell the coastal is taking over. All of the surface obs are showing a NE wind now.
  4. RE: CWG, I'd rather they always bust low than forecasting something big and it doesn't materialize. Nothing worse than a letdown in the snow department.
  5. Radar looking much better. Deeper returns forming along the I-81 to US 15 corridor, more returns showing towards Petersburg and Cumberland.
  6. Since moving back to Maryland in August 2016, I've only experienced 1 warning level snow event (Feb, 2021). This might make it event #2.
  7. One thing is for sure, the first snow event this week primed the ground. The roads are caving instantly it seems. Wouldn't shock me to see more local governments shut down.

  12. You can see the winds shifting to NE east of I-81. Coastal starting to take over.

  15. You can see the returns picking up in WV again. KW99 AWOS (Petersburg0 just had it's visibility go under5 SM again so there's definitely stuff coming our way again.

  17. The last few frames are showing some returns picking up in WV. Might be the pivot starting?
