Yup. The snow report next to Reisterstown is me. Been dancing on the edge since sunrise.

Ground stop at IAD due to weather.

It went from nothing to a decent clip here about 15 min after the darker greens moved over.

Snow intensity really picking up in Reisterstown. Steady snow but it's mostly needles and plates.

Yes. Easily the best snow since midnight up here. A good, steady moderate snow.

Yea this seems to he an I-70 and points south kind of event.

Yea just woke up to about the same on the ground. Radar isnt looking so good for up here.

Main road refuses to give up. Everytime the intensity wavers even our side street melts back. Off to bed and hoping to wake up to everything covered in snow.

The map feature is cool. Helps look at upstream OBS vs. what was forecast/modeled. Worth a bookmark.

Flake size finally increasing and we're at a steady light snow in Reisterstown. Side streets covered.

I did not say that. That was either Bob or Randy. Alexandria and southern Fairfax County have been stuck in a series of lulls all evening.

M0.1" Reisterstown...radar would suggest it should be thumping but it's really light snow.

Good. Hope that keeps up. So many things have to come right for this event which always makes you nervous. The straight up Miller As that come screaming out of the south are so much easier on the nerves.

Hope you keep on reporting snow because man, that's an ugly dry slot behind this initial band of precip. It looked like it was filling in an hour or so ago but that would really kink things up for everyone.

DCA somehow reporting SN- but it's 33°. Terrible place for an observing station.
