Two question for the lawn folks: 1.) Do you have a recommendation for a de-thatcher/aerator that isn't overly expensive for a home owner to buy? 2.) We have a lot of wild violets on our lawn. We have a lawn service that does some light spraying for us, but the violets just laugh at it. Are there any suggestions on how to slowly reduce their numbers?

It's good to see testing and timely results coming in. As others have said, that will definitely spike the cases and that shouldn't alarm folks. This will allow public health to isolate infected individuals. For transitioning from phases to phase of re-opening we will be looking closely at supply chain integrity of PPE, ICU bed counts, hotspots in places like nursing homes, and number of vents being used. This needs to continue through the summer and into the fall so we can maintain the isolation protocols.

We call that Friday night in the EMS world.

The past two days are definitely steps backward for MD. I was hoping to decrease in hospitalizations and COVID EMS dispatches was true sign of us flattening this out, but it appears it's a bit too early of a blip.

Lupine will not grow in warm or clay soils which is tough for us in Baltimore County. We have raised best that are conditioned down to about 30" so hopefully we can get them to take. I'm not expect much success but I just wanted to try at least once.
