  1. Lancaster, PA (LNS) just guested to 27 mph. There's the winds that were mentioned in the updated warning coming down.
  2. Without a doubt the best rates of the storm in Reisterstown. Flake size also increased.
  3. LWX extends Winter Storm Warning until 09:00 am 2/2/21 for Mason-Dixon Counties. Additional 2-4" w/ wind gusts to 35 mph.
  4. Steady, light snow. Already got a coating on top of the glaze.
  5. Got some yellow trying to form across northern Carroll and Baltimore counties. . . .
  6. Wow that 12z Euro is nice for the Mason-Dixon counties. Where do I sign?
  7. This is the best rates I've had all event. If this hold a few hours, it's going to start piling up.
  8. Flake size trying to increase. Sticking to everything.
  9. Mix line must be down to about Rt. 26 in Carroll County...accidents starting to get dispatched in Carroll.
  10. Officially light snow in Reisterstown. Poked my head outside and it's pillars and plates. 28/24
  11. Finally have sustained snowflakes starting to mix in down in Reisterstown.
  12. Per SPC meso analysis, the 700 mb low just popped off the Delaware coast.
  13. Might be some terrain enhancement, but I could see some 12"+ amounts from northern Frederick County, especially around the Catoctins when this is all over. Radar really lighting up there.
  14. CC loop shows the mix line collapsing really well across York and Adams counties. Should see a lot of posts here soon from the Fredick/Carroll/Baltimore/Harford posters over the next couple hours. This was really well pinged by the morning run of the NAMs and RGEM.
  15. 511 cam for MD Route 30 @ PA line is now caked in snow. Wasn't like that a few hours ago.
  16. If you look at the 0.5 degree CC loop on LWX radar, the mix line is definitely dropping SW from York County.
  17. As an OEM in Montgomery, the difference between upper and lower portions of the county is insane. I've seen even where inside the beltway it's nothing and north of Germantown it's pounding big time.
  18. Yup. The returns working SW from Lancaster and Chester Counties and that would help cool the column off more and starting flipping people back to snow.
  19. Check out the returns on the radar just south of DC insreasing.
