  1. How much of a westward shift?
  2. A cluster of 18z EPS take Henri into central NJ...would argue that wouls give some impacts to Delmarva.
  3. Some light reading for you: https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/apme/52/10/jamc-d-12-0276.1.xml
  4. HRRR has a bit of a supercell look for a few cells across the I-64 corridor today.
  5. A worthwhile thread to read. Tomer is a maven with modeling and analysis:
  6. On tropical tidbits, am I missing something, or is the 12z Euro just shearing Henri apart by HR72 apart to nothing and kicking it well out to sea?
  7. Decent spike in lightning. Looks like the cell might be starting to interact with a bit of bay influence or possible sense the warm front that's draped across NE MD.
  8. Looks like the afternoon activity may be trying to form in the WV Panhandle. Sun's out pretty good in Gaithersburg...definitely has a deep tropical feel to it.
  9. That's the best looking cell of the day in these parts.
  10. I am consistently amazed at how we struggle to get anything interesting in these parts anymore. We just succeed at failure. Remnants come through and it just fizzles out.
  11. Latest SPC meso analysis update has a supercell composite of 8 along the I-270 corridor up into Gettysburg.
  12. Cell just south of Haymarket putting down some CG now. Looks like it might be trying to get rooted in some of the surface instability.
  13. Some of the 12z GEFS members pull Henri into Cape May/Atlantic City. OP GFS is loltastic.
  14. Yes. With clearing behind that, there is a window for a 2nd scattered line behind that before everything sweeps through.
  15. Oh lawd the GFS. I know it's an OP run, etc. But holy lol.
  16. Watch coming out. Until 8:00 pm. Include Kent and Queen Anne's on the eastern shore.
  17. Sounds like a red box coming per the latest meso. Should be coming up on SPC homepage shortly. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md1551.html
  18. It's a machine learning account that pulls from the short term meso guidance. Still an uncalibrated account but something worth peeking at, IMO.
  19. Cell near orange is starting to put CG down and getting a bit of a kidney bean look.
  20. Everyone pour one out for the SPC servers that are getting killed by all the weenies hitting F5 on their keyboards.
  21. Pretty early to be meso'd, but yesterday there were confirmed tornadoes from showers that produced almost no lightning. Looks like our chance for local tor/spinnies is the activity that's currently south of I-64.
