  1. The back end band might pivot back through Baltimore just as the sun starts going down in a few hours...man that'd be epic.
  2. There's some returns building in across York and northern Baltimore counties. We *might* be able to squeeze some TV Snow™ in this afternoon as this finally pivots out.
  3. Lift with that band long US 15 to I-81 is probably going to cause the other band over Baltimore to collapse from subscidence. What goes up must come down.
  4. LWX might have to extend their advisory at this rate.
  5. Just like that, another big band spinning up over Emmitsburg east to Union Bridge. Where's @jayyy?
  6. The upper level component with this storm has been incredible. How often do you see it snowing in Richmond, Bar Harbor, and Pittsburgh at the same time? 7. Lewistown and Smithsburg got nailed. Cars stuck everywhere. Frederick Fire/Sheriff have been out all night on the mountains.
  8. Looks like the final band is giving some terrain enhancement for the Catoctins again. Someone's gonna get 2 feet up there.
  9. If we get a nice "clean" Miller A or Miller A hybrid then we stand a better shot at a nice, simple snowfall for everyone that can probably be sniffed our 2-3 days in advance with more reasonable accuracy. Miller B's are torture and we're lucky the upper level energy saved a lot of people.
  10. It's the same image that snow dreamer just posted.
  11. Me too. There's snow all the way back to the OH/PA border. Amazing. I tell you, Sterling's initial 8-12" for the Mason-Dixon counties when they first issued the winter storm warning worked out it seems. If the upper level energy can swing through in one good piece a lot of places north of I-70 are probably going to clip up to 8". https://twitter.com/stormsellwx/status/1356428126763552771/photo/1
  12. DCA jackpotting on the a$$ end of the storm. We've entered the end times.
  13. That area averages 1100 to 2000 feet (Ft. Ritchie) it's such a weird, cool area!
  14. Definitely some more stuff trying to rotate back into Baltimore.
  15. I honestly think another 1-3" is possible for you.
  16. If you look at the LWX radar, you can see returns streaming in from the upper Chesapeake Bay and some building over southern York and Lancaster counties pivoting southwest.
