    There were more power outages from that even in Maryland than from Hurricane Sandy. Had that wind occurred during a full canopy, we would've probably rivaled the 2012 derecho.

    We learned after Hurricane Hugo that you have to clear the street first. Debris leads to flat tires and slows down immediate response and therefore the transition to recovery.

    I think there was a D1 MOD risk in December 2019, but yea this is an anomalous event.

    We do well when entering or exiting a pattern. We tend to only do clippers when inside "the pattern".

    I'd pay good money for a solid 6" - 10" snowstorm Christmas Day. Wake up to overcast and have snow start falling as the coffee is coming up.

    Just like the blizzard of 2016. It snowed, then the next day we busted high on temps and IAD lost 8 inches of snowpack. The new normal.
