  12. Hi all, just wanted to stop in and say I'm encouraged by the returns on Pittsburgh's radar. Looks like there won't be some monster cutoff right at the Mason-Dixon line. Might be one of those events where York and Lancaster counties get a late upgrade to a low end Winter Storm Warning.
  13. I'm encouraged by the returns on Pittsburgh's radar. Looks like there won't be some monster cutoff right at the Mason-Dixon line. Everybody wins!

  15. Friendly request - if you do not have your location in your profile, could you please mention it when you report a condition or snowfall measurement? Thanks!
  16. State of Maryland government agencies and offices are closed tomorrow, Monday, January 6, 2025, for all counties and Baltimore City from 6:00 a.m. through the end of the day shift. Teleworkers who are scheduled to telework should remain at home and work as scheduled unless leave is granted. Emergency Essential Employees should report as scheduled.
  17. Was filling the bird feeder and saw SWA 3883 from MSP to BWI with it's landing lights on. You could see snow aloft through the lights. Almost time!
  18. Over the past 30 minutes, you can see heavier returns on LWX radar up towards Cumberland and Keyser. Good to see.
  19. Friend reporting snow starting up in Grottoes, VA.
  20. Anyone west of Front Royal seeing precip from those heavier returns?
